1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MyMoney ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Application.

2. Description of the Application

MyMoney is a personal finance management tool designed for individual use. It allows you to:

  • Track income, expenses, and transfers between personal accounts
  • Manage budgets with monthly cycle tracking
  • Record shared expenses with people in your contact list
  • Organize group financial activities
  • Schedule and manage recurring (autopay) transactions
  • Export and import your financial data for backup purposes

3. Permitted Use

You may use MyMoney for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application
  • Use the Application for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any component of the Application

4. Your Data

All data you enter into MyMoney is stored exclusively on your device. You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of your financial records
  • The security of your device
  • Creating and managing backup exports
  • Any decisions made based on information displayed within the Application

The developers of MyMoney accept no responsibility for financial losses, missed payments, or any other consequences arising from your use of the Application or reliance on its data.

5. No Financial Advice

MyMoney is a record-keeping tool only. Nothing in the Application constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or any other professional advice. You should consult a qualified professional for such advice.

6. Accuracy and Reliability

While we strive to make MyMoney reliable, the Application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Application will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Calculations will always be accurate
  • Data will never be lost due to device issues, crashes, or migrations

We strongly recommend exporting regular backups to prevent data loss.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developers of MyMoney shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or any financial harm — arising from your use or inability to use the Application.

8. Intellectual Property

All code, design, and assets of MyMoney remain the intellectual property of the developer. You may not redistribute, sell, or republish the Application or any portion thereof without explicit written permission.

9. Third-Party Code

MyMoney makes use of open-source libraries and packages. Each such library is subject to its own respective license. A complete list of dependencies and their licenses can be found in the project'spackage.json and associated node_modules directory.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this document will be revised. Your continued use of the Application after any such update constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
